Yes, it's all edible, the hat, blanket, and baby. This cake was made for a dear friend who was pregnant with her second child. This is one of my favorite cakes. I used the bedding that she chose for inspiration for the "baby blanket" covering the baby. The base of this cake was white cake with fresh strawberry filling. The baby was a pudding cake. This is also made with marshmallow fondant which I think lends to a better tasting cake.
Look baby toes!!! Oh and baby is appropriately dressed with a "diaper".
