HAPPY BIRTHDAY FAITH - November cake in August

My church decided to have a BIG birthday party for the entire congregation. People were asked to decorate a table for each month and they asked others to decorate cakes for each month. I chose November. We have had a very busy August so I really didn't have much time to work on a cake. This cake has a butter yellow cake bottom tier and a chocolate top tier, filled with vanilla buttercream and covered with marshmallow fondant. Hopefully I captured the essence of November in this cake. I like the simplicity of this design.

Littlest Pet Shop

This year Miss K wanted a Littlest Pet Shop themed birthday party. She also decided she wanted a cookie cake instead of a regular cake. I loved making this cake. I make the animals by using the frozen buttercream transfer method. It worked great.  I also love the colors on this cake. Now I know that this is not perfectly round, however it is made by hand and with lots of love. Happy Birthday to one of my favorite girls in the world!

Whimsical Birthday Cake

The big sister of the Little Miss Matched Sock Party wanted a more sophisticated cake for her birthday. This was my first Topsy Turvy cake. It was fun to make. I can't wait to do another. This cake is vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream, and covered in marshmallow fondant. A sophisticated cake for a sophisticated young lady and a great big sister!

Old Glory

This cake idea I found on Wilton's website. I did make this for a BBQ I attended with friends. Another practice cake for fun! Marshmallow fondant decorations. HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!

Who lives in a Pinapple Under the Sea???

SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS!!!

This cake was another first. This cake was half white and half chocolate cake divided down the middle, baked at the same tine, in the same pan. This cake is decorated with buttercream.  Spongebob was done by hand directly on the cake.  Happy Birthday Matthew!!!

Happy Birthday to Twins Who Will Rock Your Socks!

I received a call to do a birthday cake for twins girls who were going to have a "Little Miss Matched" themed bouncing party at BounceU. Little Miss Matched sells mostly socks that are in sets of 3 that don't match exactly, what better way to show off your socks at BounceU. These girls will "Rock Your Socks!" This cake is Chocolate with chocolate buttercream, covered in marshmallow fondant.
