I was asked to be part of a HUGE surprise. A sweet guy was going to propose to his girlfriend and he had a whole day planned with a party with their friends and family after the actual asking of THE QUESTION! He asked me to make a cake for the party and he asked for a ring box cake that matched the box that he gave to his betrothed with the ring in it. To have enough cake for the party, I decided to make a "pillow" cake to put the ring box on. This was a chocolate cake filled with seedless raspberry preserves and covered with chocolate buttercream and fondant. It was yummy, very rich. Everything on the, except the "diamond" is edible.
